Very Still and Hard to See. Demons are forever…European premiere by acclaimed US playwright Steve Yockey. Japanese folk horror meets American Gothic. A Faustian pact between a hotel’s architect and a mysterious woman unleashes a horde of ancient Japanese demons upon unsuspecting modern America in a series of macabre, darkly comic and strangely linked episodes, including an elevator ride to hell, a very satisfying blind date, and the misuse of cleaning products and crockery. An exhilarating, horrific, visceral journey warning us that sometimes bad things happen for a reason Very dark, Very funny, Very scary and Very hard to forget.

OCTOBER PRODUCTION ANNOUNCED
A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen (a new version by Samuel  Adamson) Directed by Pauline Armour
At long last we are able to confirm our October 2013 production. After reading dozens of scripts we have chosen the timeless classic A Doll’s House. Samuel Adamson’s version, specially commissioned to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Southwark Playhouse adds a lethal punch to this classic play. This truly great drama was last performed at BLT over 20 years ago in 1989 – so in our 75th year it is somehow fitting to include it in this rather special season. Samuel Adamson has been acclaimed as the most exciting translator of his generation and his version of A Doll’s House as fluent, pointedly modern but never obtrusive.  Click here for further details on A Doll’s House

Bromley Little Theatre is a membership based amateur theatre, housed in a converted Victorian bakery and hayloft and run entirely by volunteers.
Founded in 1938, it offers eleven main productions a year, each running for eight nights, plus a number of smaller productions in the members’ bar. The theatre aims to present a wide variety of plays during the year from the classic to the contemporary, the best of British and international theatre.
We are proud that we are frequently told that our productions are of a professional standard.”
